Nate Frazier, also know by stage name Nate Nathan is an American musician.. He is an independent artist who is self produced. He spent much of his early youth in Michigan and Oakland where he began playing gospel and jazz piano early on. After a move from the city to a small country town, he began singing, writing and producing his own music. During this period, he began to find what his niche would be in music. Nate Nathan studied voice and composition at Columbia College. His love for film has also influenced his craft greatly. A lot of his works have a cinematic touch and at times end in some theatrical monologue amidst some eerie orchestration. His love for the older styles of writing from the likes of Judy Garland and Gene Wilder can be heard in many of his lyrics. These classical elements often merge with lush electronic productions and strong grooves that feel soulful and funky at times. Even with all the lovely musical embellishments, it is obvious that the voice is the focal point.
